The color forecast article of 2013 talked about what colors for designing rooms is "in" or "out", and what is most popular for designing as of right now. They talked about the colors red&green, or blue&brown, or violet colors, or the most popular black&white. A Color forecaster is part designer, part sociologist, and part predictor. They draw information from the runway, auto manufacturers and the housewares industry. There inspired by new trends and ideas as well. For my olio board, I used the colors Blue and Brown from the color article. Blue sets a calm mood, so i made a living room that's peaceful. I used our Monochromatic scheme by using different shades of blue and added in a brown to neautalize the colors.
